"Have you ever had the desire to sail through the air on a horse's back, leaping jumps? At Walnut Grove Stables we offer lessons in hunt seat, also known as jumping seat. My capable assistant, Melissa Sparks, and I strive to offer safe, fun learning experiences for the beginner to the advance hunter rider. WGS offers school horses for your convenience, or ship your own horse in for lessons. We are a full service boarding facility, if you prefer to have your horse on premise. Here at Walnut Grove, we have a dress code. Melissa and I will be happy in directing you in your purchase of proper attire for riding with the Walnut Grove team!"

Dene warmly welcomes children and adult riders to participate in the lesson program and exciting activities at Walnut Grove Stables. She has coached riders to Championships at the State 4-H level as well as the Youth Morgan Huntseat Championship at the Morgan Horse Nationals. Her students are often among the Year End Award winners for the East Tennessee Hunter Jumper Association.

Dene Masengill offers instruction for all levels of riders, from beginners to advanced.
